You're probably going for the "artsy" thing (see recent threads). I wish the sky weren't so bland. I don't see any connection to the theme but I'm thinking you already know that most viewers won't get it. The picture breaks most of the "rules" which is fine, but at the end of the day, there's not much here IMHO. |

Maybe this should be in "Advertising" instead of "Extraordinary." It would probably score a lot higher there. Nice use of DoF - placing the emphasis on the beer.
Improve it by: a) Waiting for a better sky - the top 1/4 of your image is a bald white sky. If there is no better sky - crop it out. b) Use a more photogenic beer glass. c) More side light on the glass instead of the straight on lighting (flash?) that produced the hasrh glare. |

Could you please send me the raw image...I'd like to see how you cropped it, and figure out your technique. Thank you. Please send it to pique_moi@hotmail.com |

perhaps if you were extraordinarily smashed. the beer is blown out by your fill flash. which is ok, except the rest is overexposed too. concept is nice, the execution makes me wonder a bit. nice horses. :)

there isnt anything special about this picture. i think a larger DOF would benefit this picture, and less lighting on the cup and pole |

I give you credit for trying to juxtapose interesting contrasting subjects, but the technical details on this shot need a lot of work. The plastic cup isn't that interesting as a foreground subject and it is made less so by the hotspots from the flash and the foam sticking to the top of the cup. There is nothing that jumps out at my from the vegetables in the garden area. Perhaps a lower viewing angle might have produced a more interesting composition. |

Not necessarily in that order, Right? |

This idea/compositon is pretty funny. I don't like the lighting reflections off the beer/post (flash). The composition is different, but it works. Does seem totally extraordinary, but it is different. |

If I were to be REALLY picky about the title I would. I read the title, if it has multiple items, to see if they are in some sort of order that matches the title like direction from top down. In this case it does not match. The main point of focus appears to be the cup of beer and it is lit rather harshly by a flash. I don't see any obvious vegetables in the lower right so I must trust you that they are there. I do, however, see two horses. |

I think your flash or lighting was too direct and/or intense on the beer and post. |

I don't see anything extraordinary about the shot, or the content. (I also have aesthetic objections to beer in plastic cups, but that does not effect the score) |

Hmm, what's extraordinary about that? Am I missing something? |

I'm not sure of the point of this image. There is nothing in the photo that strikes me as extraordinary and it doesn't strike me as an extraordinary photo. More than anything, this image just confuses me... is there some connection between these three things? |

You used the flash? Hmm... I like bizarre photos but this one has too much blank space in the sky, and the vieggies don't stand out at all. |
