I love this photo and gave it a 10. Thought it would do much better in the challenge...

I love the color on these shells, too. Wish it weren't quite so blown out on the shell. I like the pure white on top but I'm sure the colors would be even more vivid if the bottom weren't so light.

Good subject, but it appears to me that the light has washed out much of the detail. Try stopping down or faster shutter. Just my opinion.

Way to bright and to much light I can barely wach my screen ineed sunglasses. But good idea just didnt make it. I f I were you I probably bring to the pic the details in the shell and the sea weed in the side to the composition.

Did you know that the inside of these muscles are bright orange? And they are edible, but I don't like them. When alive they reach out with thier tentacles and feed on whatever comes to them. This guy either died of old age or more likely another predator (oyster catcher, human, seastar/starfish) got to em. Ok, lecture over.
Nice shot. I like that it is overexposed, I also like the debris of the left, makes it seem more natural. Good coloration I would like the entire image to shift to the right a bit though.

Pity it is washed out across the top...
