 Editing: Crop, Levels, Increase Saturation small amount; descrease brightness on highlights on side of sheep; resize; sharpen; use sharpen tool on horns of sheep.

While my parents were here visiting from Montana we were lucky enough to see these uphill from the road grazing. We stopped to take pictures and they didn't seem to mind - this one actually seemed to strike a pose for the camera. We have lived in Colorado high country for 25 years now and it's the first time I've ever seen a Bighorn Sheep; we see tons of elk and deer but this is a first. Thank goodness for the 12 times stabilized zoom on my Panasonic FZ10!

Looks a little overexposed to my eye. A good catch nonetheless

Great too get so near to such a gorgeous animalt. A little too much contrast for me. A 6 for getting close and not spooking the Sheep before you got a shot.

Great experience to even get this image. I'd probably have bracketed the shot to try for really good lights and darks.
