This is actually quite outstanding. I'm not usually a fan of super-smooth, studio portraiture, but something about the expression and the raised eyebrow elevates this into "meaningfulness". I'd quibble with the hot spot on the earring, otherwise really well done.

Well this is a very good portrait and in many ways for the wrong reasons...Hope Ruth is not offended..but that look with the one Eye brow up says allot to many different people - such as, dont mess with me or I dont care what you think, or see the worry in my eyes. Very good work here. 8

An awful lot of competing colors here, which to me detract from focussing on her face. I think this one would be much more flattering in B&W. I do like that raised eyebrow.

Good job with the lighting and color. The background is also nicely suited to the shot. It all works, except that I'm not a big fan of smoothing out the skin that much. But overall if the client is pleased, what can I say ;)
