 I wanted to have the 3 glasses filled with 3 different shades of orange coloured water. I have done this set-up before with 3 glasses full of coloured water. So I did it and balanced the glasses and just as I was going to take the photo they all came crashing down onto my concrete basement floor. What a mess! Glass and water everywhere, on my lights, my backdrop, ugh. So I cleaned it all up and called it a day.

The glasses are balanced like that with no photoshop tricks, no invisible strings or wires. The only trick I used was to put a bit of poster putty on the bottom of the bottom glass to help it stick to the mirror.

I took lots of orange photos for this challenge, I hope I chose the right one to enter. I'm never sure.

Very nice! I particulary like the blue outline that highlights the edges of the glasses.

This deserved to have ended up higher if you're asking me. I'm glad you confirm that it is a pure balancing act (I thought there would have some tricks involved to keep them like that). Wish I could see your complete set-up for this one.
I know if I would try this, several glasses would get killed in the act(ion).

excellent compostion and very nice image.
I think that it didn't finish top, due to face that main subject-Orange is only in the background..
In addition, it looks that the background is a bit over saturated.
any way, I like it!

This is an interesting photo, and it is very well executed. My only concern is that the orange is merely the background color, and not very involved in the main subject. Still getting a good score from me though.
