I know pet shots generally don't score high. I happen to like this on. It's a quintessential cat shot, but it's also interesting. Kitty on the rusty gate, and his tail just touching the water, like he's fishing. :) Which is a nice play on the name. Total cat shot, with the intense focus on the water. And well executed. 7. |

I think getting away from the cat, and shooting at eye level of the cat would have been more effective. I find that especially with pet pictures, being on the same eye level makes a huge difference.
Still, the photo is orange, it is in focus, and the composition is interesting. |

That's so funny the tip of her (his?) tail is in the water. Almost like a lure! He-he...here fishy, fishy. :-) I've enjoyed this photo. Besides the humor it's also shot very well. Good luck! |
