Challenge: Planes, Trains and Automobiles II (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-40D
Location: Whatcom County
Date: Mar 23, 2010
Aperture: 5
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/125

Photo was taken on an overcast day, from a short distance, people were working on the train so couln't get too close. Color is not as bright as I would have liked, but I liked the composition.

Great shot. I love the color and the graphic simplicity of this composition. Really well done.

I did a collage of trains for my BIL and included a shot something like this.

Comes off to me as an average snapshot. A bit flat looking. However, some adjustments such as levels, curves, saturation and contrast could probably improve the impact of this image immensely.

In B&W or Sepia, and greater contrast next time. Sorry it;s washed out and lifeless...
