 At a rest stop in Fresno, on the way to Yosemite, I saw this catch basin and this handsome fellow. I had to crop pretty severely to eliminate a lot of distracting elements, so I hope it shows well...

Cropped, auto levels, sharpened, gradient, added border, saved for web.

Nice mood photo. The dark Cormorants? in the back complemens the contrast between black and white. I wondered about a tighter crop, but decided that you did it perfectly.

Not usually a big fan of bird shots, in any challenge, never mind the stopped motion challenge. But this was my favorite of the bird entries. The water nymph certainly has very beautiful illumincation. 8 from me.
