Greetings from the Critique Club!
Ughh I had a bunch of stuff written and lost it because my computer froze. Second time around will hopefully be better and make more sense. While it doesn't really meet the challenge, as I'm sure you're aware of, it's still a very interesting picture. Particularly that orange stripe. I voted this a 6. I'm not really sure why, there is no product involved. Just something about this picture that I liked. Page 13 of the abstract catalogue was selling inner peace it seems.
I really hope you don't leave DPC Don, I love that thread you have and your images always show me things I wouldn't think to photograph. What will Team Suck do without it's leader?
If you have any questions click here to message me!

Like Ben said... I love the contrasts. Great to share a place in the Catalogue avec vous.

The long shadows and blazing contrast of red/orange define your fight! One rock too many! ;) (no vote)
I can't count!

I don't know french so I don't know what you are selling. :D I'm very curious about the orange streak! |

I'm going to loosely interpret the French as "may the force be with you" though I do indeed realize that is not what it says. Yet that IS what the picture says, with the light saber losing in this particular battle to the oxidized mini-pebbles who are quite adeptly holding their own. (Commenting only.) |

WOW, what a great idea--product shots for a catalog of abstract art! I love it!
I have voted 8 on most of the abstract catalog entries including this one. Four of them I thought were stunning abstracts so I gave them 10s.
I understand that some people are upset about this set of entries. One of the important functions of contemporary art is to raise issues and push boundaries. This often gets people upset. Hang in there! |

I seem to be missing how this fits the product challenge for a catalog |

And yet another in this collusury effort. I ask myself "what product does this represent?" Making the abstract submission the product itself seems quite a stretch for the challenge.
It's a nice image, but I don't think it fits the challenge. Probably would've scored better in the fine arts challenge |

Jolie, mais ne se compose pas de la manière la plus parfaite, à mon avis. La lumière est délicate, la composition tripartite intéressant. 6 |

Rock cocaine? Black tar heroin? Ok, I give up since I don't know French. :-) Good luck with this one. |
