 Setup on a pedestal with black curtain and background was a black curtain. Was out of the alcohol so I made some tea for the replacement. Fired a flash to the product left through an umbrella and had another stobe behind it as well as a reflector to the right.

Shot in Raw and edited in lightroom. Exposure, white balance, masked out some of the reflection and brightened the edges, crop and straighten. . export to PSE6 and did a topaz adjust, warming filter and resize, usm and sfw. It may still be a bit dark for some people but I like the low key look.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

This was one of my highest rated pictures in the Product Shot challenge. I gave you a 9.

This stuff is delicious first of all so I was biased in your favour hehe. Personally I really liked the dark lighting. The tea matches perfectly with the bottle. There's not much I would change about this. You received some helpful comments though. And I have to agree that it would have been nice to have the edge of the cap lighted as well. I'm surprised this didn't score higher though.

Josh you keep replacing your top rated images on your profile, keep up the great work! Love your stuff!

Gorgeous light on the glass! My only nit-pick is that the top of the bottle blends into the background. Add a small rim light/back light and problem solved : )

good use of levels to hide the background...except I would have liked to have that tablecloth not visible at all

I like the mood, but i feel it is a touch too dark. The side lighting works well.
