Great expression, nice use of the "glowing effect" lighting/processing.

Lighting: The lighting is even, without any harsh shadows, and the eyes sparkle with the catchlight, but the whitebalance seems a bit off. With the light directly overhead, as opposed to the side, the face loses much of its features, but with this face that is not a problem. I do not care for the extreme vignetting, not that I do not like the effect at all, just not this extreme. IMHO, if you wanted the area of the image to be such a small area in the center, why not just crop it smaller to begin with?
Pose: The pose is classic baby, time honored and well accepted; nothing to say about it. However, with his head tiled up so much, I think I would have raised the level of the camera to just above his eye level.
Background: The background is a very nice touch. The soft neutral tones complement the subject very well.

Hard, I'm sure to get a child this young to hold still for a shot like this. I think the beaded necklace really detracts from your subject. The spotlighting is creative but I don't think it helps the overall effect.

Very sweet...cute pose. IMHO, the necklace is more of a distraction than anything. She has such a sweet expression, the catchlight in her eyes highlights it perfectly. Not crazy about the vignette, but it isn't a distraction. :o)

Great baby picture. A little less DOF might pull out some of the background distraction, but that is a personal taste.

This child has a terrific face! That smile and those eyes. I think the necklace just distracts from from what is important - I see you are highlighting this kids "party personality," perhaps a less bold necklace? Something that matched the subjects pale complexion better? Also the halo of light arounf the face is quite unnatural. I'd crop closer to the face.

Oh, what a face. :) :) I'm sitting here smiling just looking at it. Great job.

Lighting is very good Love the expression pretty well done. I would have like to have seen a shirt on. But I give it a hight mark anyway

cute kid, great smile ... but I don't like the vignetting look on the edges

Beautiful baby boy and an awesome use of catch light to get the twinkle in his eye! Did you PS the vignette effect or was it a spot type light creating this effect? I'm not sure I like it, but it's not too distracting. I did notice that it is a touch flat and dull. If you move your lights to one side more (rather than so direct in front) you'll get more depth. The dull part is either a need for more lights or a bit of tweaking in PS with the levels.

Great baby picture! Love the look on his cute face. while the lighting appears good, it also looks as if you did it with some post process editing. I'm not particularly fond of the neckless around his neck, though.

always make sure that the person who is getting baby to smile is at the same height as the camera, this will preven the baby from looking up!
I don't realy care for the dark vignetting, I think a white would have been more appropriate

Color appears too pale. The "halo" could be larger.

Lovely, but not 100% what I would expect from a studio portrait (6)

very nice capture of the "open" innocent look of the child. The lighting around her (his?) head is almost like a halo. I am not too sure about the necklace. I understand you needed some color, but it lookes a bit too "posed" with the necklace.

This guady necklace on the baby is really inappropriate. The big red beads look somewhat like globs of blood. The colors are a bit desaturated which only heightens the weird contrast between the baby's soft coloring and the garish beads. Really odd choice of prop.
The baby is a bit too close to the background.

The picture itself is pretty good, but whatever effect you put on it is off-putting - the glowing head and chest thing. Nice capture of the eyes, though, they're expressive.
