Wow, thanks everyone for the great score, PB, and first ribbon. I, too, never expected this to do that well.... goes to show how much more I have to learn :)

This, of course, is a Frank Gehry design. I would call this the "forgotten" side of the building, as it faces another academic building with a small walkway in between. The opposing side is the one usually shown in pictures, with the classic multiple metal curving facades, etc. I shot this the last night of the challenge, expecting to photo the "more interesting" front side, only to find it in complete shade. So, I walked around the back and this is what I found.

I gave 'the forgotten side' a 10.

And I've have given it a 12 if the score range went up that high.

Strikingly different architecture and very well chosen angle. Lovely deep colors. Nice processing. I am sure this will finish in the top 10 and might even ribbon. 9

Strange, weird. Pity the blue wave is a bit lost against the sky, but I suppose that it represents the sky in any case?
