| Very simple but very nice. I love your use of light to bring about the details of the leaf. And a great eye to catch such a wonderful scene. Black background works great. Not sure if center composition would've been my choice, but nonetheless, this is a stunning shot. |

| Superb - just superb! The detail in the leaf is amazing. The lighting on the stem at top creates a nice lead in. I'd like to crop off about 1/2 of the distance from the left edge to the leaf so it would not be quite so centered. Even as is - it's a stunning submission. |

| Quite lovely. A black background is perfect. The veins in the leaf are beautifully defined and the curves of the stems and the light on them makes a wonderful composition. A 10. |

| One of my top picks. I simply love the simplicity of this, the luminosity of the leaf that lets us see every little vein and the curved stem that it is growing on. All very well complemented by the black background. Beautiful work. Well worth making available as a print, would work well as a card, too. |

| I love the simplicity of this image. The stem winding through the image gives the eye something to follow and the leaf is so strong that it keeps the eye from running off image. The highlight at the top on the stem provides the perfect lead in too. Well done (9) |

| Very nice idea, very good execution. The light shining through it is beatifull, the black backdrop is wisely chosen. Great picture. I wish I would have made something like that! |

| Stunning. My favorite of the challenge. The only thing I can think of to improve it, and I'm not certain it would, is to have a light line along the entire length of the stem instead of just the top section. Not sure how you'd do that, anyway... |
