Yeah I know, the lighting could really be much better. But it was a bugger to do (the bottom light was a six foot stand lamp lying almost horizontally balanced on my leg!). Not one of my best but that's what you get for only starting about an hour before the challenge closes!

Good concept poor follow through. The 35mm film strip is from a still camera, not a movie camera.

I think I remember that movie on the left, a real "B" movie! Good job!

Nice job of meeting challenge. Great drawing - good movement in them. Where you flying into in the movie. Missing the video. Good subject matter. Good color. Just a little bright in left corner - causes your eyes to go there first. But nice composition and good pic. PTL

good idea.
maybe a liitle less light from below and a bit more from above would improve this shot.

What you are communicating here is very clear, it just doesn't make for a very appealing photo, in my opinion.

The lighting is too bright.

I like the one on the left better ... easiest one to operate :). Good choice and good luck in the challenge. maybe a tad more lighting from the top Jacko . 8

Interesting composition here... I like your subject progression from old to new :) I think you are onto something here with the backlighting. I'm not sure of a better way to expose this image as is, but somethign seems a bit strange about it. I believe that there may not be quite enough 'top' light to make the exposure really pop here... - setzler

Nice idea, but Toy Story is a computer animated picture transfered directly to DVD from the digital source. It didn't involve film, except for showing it in movie theathers.

Very uneven light coming from below the left hand bottom corner. I don't know how many light sources you used but maybe there should have been another in the top right corner. Nice idea though!
