 I couldn't help but notice the glow of the letter edge on this cover -- and the shadow is everything which isn't there. Also, note that the inside of the letters is silver (not black) -- hence the shadow.

Not really what I would have in mind for this challenge....surly you could have found an actual shadow or used the book in a different way to make a shadow.

I can see that this is a book, but it isn't visually appealing to me. Had it been set up to cast it's own shadow it might have been a better concept. Just my opinion.
