 I would say this shot is somewhere between a carefully planned shot vs a happy accident. Because, even if the arrangement of the elements were planned, the result out of motion blur was by accident.

Here are the details of the setup: My son made a olympic torch as a craft work in his school, with some tin foil in the handle and some color papers in the flame area. I placed that torch on a blue shawl. The green is due to a pillow I placed in one corner. The red at the top corner is another red paper to add some balance.

I used my Canon powershot SD780 camera and put it on Program mode and exposed it +2EV. This gave me a 1s exposure at f/5. So, I rotated my camera with the flame area as pivotal point. Took several shots and this is one of the few I thought has some interesting patterns. Had a tough time in giving a suitable title.

Let me see how this goes.

The strong primary colors are beautiful. The blur is intriguing but not at all revealing. Great job!

6 - It is beautiful and I do like your colors and the strength of them. I find the upper right red throws the balance out too much though... especially for such a deliberate abstract.

Revisiting this entry and reviewing the score I gave - up with 2 points.
Am I seeing some kind of bubbles there at the left side? I do wonder what I'm looking at.

Yes, very good. I love the execution of this, but I must say that the colors (with the exception of the blue/white area) don't really strike me as much as I would think they should. Red, green, blue, all really great colors, they of course, blend into white (when speaking of light), so the white is good in there.. I still don't love the color.. Odd how that works.. So you're getting a 7 because I do like it, especially what you executed here, I just don't LOVE the final results.

The handle of that fork (?) caught my eye right away. Very nice. The colors are a bit odd, but IMO the whole thing works because of the red in the upper R corner. Camera-motion blur is what this looks like to me, & I like it!

Agreed! Excellent as ART, Dubious as to how it will "Play" among voters over-all, but I give you a "6" for ART! :)
