You could have cropped off a whole lot of sky at the top, and made the image larger. All that sky at the top is putting your focus in the dead center. |

I like your use of negative space. It sort of emphasizes where the construction is going. (up) |

Seems like a bit too much sky. Maybe another level of building would have enhanced the photo. |

Interesting concept, but I think the point (the strength of the crane lifting the large object) is lost by having such a wide angle view. On the other hand, the wide angle helps give it some scale. |

BOOOORING image.. Crop the top 2 inches or so out, why all the blue space? Too Bright, not enough detail. |

Hmm, I've seen cranes carry heavier things then that. |

Neat idea for the challenge. I think it would need to be lifting something that looks really heavy to have an impact. Clean, clear shot, just not much punch. |

Laking in composition, too much empty space
The art of arranging elements of a scene or image in such a way that they are visually pleasing, emotionally moving, etc.

I wish I could see the crane lifting up something that looks very heavy or interesting. The triangle formed by the edge of the roof leading up to the top of the crane really makes the photo balanced. However the lack of anything really interesting in the photo to make a focus point keeps the photo in just the average range. |
