 Another view of the cypress filled lake on Barksdale AFB. This lake has resulted in a number of PB's, including a Kodak POTD for Bergiekat and a blue ribbon for myself. Therefore, I declare this lake to officially be magic.

Hopefully this scene will be taken as some thing a little different that can stand on it's own, and not as an outtake of my ribbon winner.

Anticipated critiques:
-Composition is a little odd.
-I expect some comments identifying this as belonging to myself or Kawesttex. The locale is certainly identifiable after two top 10's of this scene.

Post-challenge notes:
Did well for a freestudy, though not up to the unbelievable level that my other shot of this location did. It was also voted "Picture of the week" in the DFW Metro group on Flickr, so I'm very happy with the performance of this one.

Interesting - for me the composition comes across as more or less perfect rule of thirds with a strong point of focus on either side. Interesting that for others the point of focus is the copse in the centre.

Definitely an underrated shot, but given your recent success I can't imagine that you are too upset! :o)
