My son built a lego army and wanted me to take a picture. I set the camera on the floor parallel to it and got a really cute shot. Inspiration struck, and I cropped the photo and inverted the colors. This is the result. My boys love it but complained that parts of the legos turned "pink" when I edited it...ahh boys!!

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: How could I not comment on this one. I suspect I'll be seeing some more of this genre in the March FS too! Your colours are great and the touches of pink and orange contribute quite a lot. The reflection, vignette and the bright backlighting all elevate this beyond a simple shot of some toys.

Critical stuff: All of the above aside, there is only so much artistry to be gleaned from such a set-up.

Overall: It is what it is; I think your photographic skills have added a lot of value to this.

I do not like Lego & Playmobil images I'm afraid. Sorry.
