How many people go to the zoo and decide the best picture taken is ... not an animal ;-) One this February, anyway!
Noticed these on my way to the Bird House and just fell in love with the delicate dried petals and the soft pastels. May be a species of hydrangea .. but I'm not certain.
PP - tonemapped in qtpfsgui (pregamma 0.697, mantiuk method, contrast mapping 0.1, saturation factor 1.107, detail factor 1), Gaussian blur, lightened, merged at 20% transparency in multiply mode, cropped, white balance, increased saturation and contrast, cloned out one twig, burnt petal veins a little, resized, sharpened, blurred background more, added border. |
