Good job for getting out to a dance comp for the challenge. I think there are two thinking lacking in your shot though. I would have used a shallower depth of field to isolate the dancers we dont really care about the back ground. I would have also timed it differently (or used a different position) so that I could catch at least one of their faces.

hmm, i don't know if this works for me. the girl's position emphasizes her leg muscles, look at her left leg and the gastrocnemius of her right... a shallower dof maybe to blur the background?

I would have likes to see at least 1 of both faces. However, I know that during such event you don't have a lot of options on where you can take position.
