I'm sure your getting hammered for the excess smoothing - I did for my 'Headwear' entry. I can see why you've done it - to emphasise the eyes (which it does) but I think just sparing the tip of the nose often makes this more acceptable to viewers.
I can't argue with your execution of this approach but I suspect you're not pulling the most potential out of your original image in terms of a score given by a DPC audience. |

The white in the eyes is just a hair over the top, but the skin tones and detail are immaculate. Those peach colored lips really balance the color scheme too. I love the overall effect! STUNNING!
Had to come back and add this to my Faves. Is this Manny? |

| This has the makings of a beautiful picture , all it needs is a little less work on the skin , the eyes , the mouth the blur are all spot on. I have scored a 9 could have been a 10. |
