Could be a great composition if only the BG were OOF. Use aperture control and open your lens up to f/5.6 or f/8 or so to just get the sundial in focus. |

I find snowy gardens a tough sell, but this one's all right. I like the similar feel of the roof decoration above to the sundial below. |

Not enough here, I'm afraid. Maybe a different angle would have brought out the dead plants a bit more, or framed the sun dial around the gazebo or whatever you want to call that column structure. Tough right now... trust me, I know. But while I still rated this high I would have rated it higher with a bit of a different composition. |

I like your shot, it has a wow factor to it, but its hard to figure out what the focal point is. I can't tell if its the metal object in the foreground or the really big set of columns behind it. I imagine its the foreground. I think this could have stood out more if the object didn't end overlapping the big object behind it. Its also left side heavy with both objects taking up the left side and also both leading the eye out of the image and away from the unnoticed right side. Good work though. 6 |

BBBBRRRRRRRRR
Nice shot, I would have framed it slightly different, by using the rule of thirds. More specifically placing the metal structure in the front (sun dial in summer?) on the bottom 1third.
Well done, 7/10 |
