Really nice how the clouds totally support the diagonals in the composition! That must have cost a bit to set up. :-)

Hi, Critique Club here...

Wow, what are the odds? I drew your other image as well.

I have to say I like this one much more. I think it has better depth and the sky/reflected sky are great. Additionally it doesn't have the lit diagonals on the left to distract the viewer.

The only issue I have is not with the photo, but rather the subject. It gets really busy as you look toward the end of it. So much so that the viewer can't appreciate the graceful lines of the artwork.

Nice job!

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I really like this - I particularly like the bold contrast you have offered up and the way you have let blue colours dominate the image. The sky and the reflection is quite marvellous - I wish the skies I shot looked like that. The background architecture is almost secondary to the natural elements of water and sky but the structures are pretty to look at too.

Critical stuff: Nothing

Overall: Very effective - nicely done.

Lots of cool elements. Clouds are processed nicely, providing a dramatic element that is helped by the ice/glass sculptures and bridge. A lot of very cool structures and subjects going on in this one.
