Comments Made During the Challenge  |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Nice use of parallel lines; I wonder if this is a carry-over from that challenge? I do like the coloration of this image and I think the amount of tone mapping you have added suits the scene very well. I like the moody sky and the detail in the distant tree line too.
Critical stuff: I think scenes like these only have so much interest in them - once you have fully milked them they have little else to give.
Overall: A great job capturing an OK scene. |
