 Firefighters on the roof of a house down the street from where I am staying. Handheld, longish shutter.

Edit to add that from what I saw last night and again today the damage looks to be limited to smoke damage.

The light is wonderful in this! It works really well with the silhouettes of the firemen and the smoke to convey a sense of drama and impending doom. Effective!

Very surreal image. Enough definition I think to guess that these are firefighters. The blurry silhouettes against the white smoky background makes it surreal for me. Too bad for the person's home, but nice capture for you...

I like how where they are (and to some extent who/what they are) is obscured enough to let the imagination play tricks - these men could be coming over the rise of the edge of a volcano, for all we know.
