 Converted From RAW, Cropped Sharpened adjusted the vignetting, Boosted Vibrance and Contrast, Opened in CS4, Used adjustment layers for Curves and Levels, Did a bit of selective desat on the background and a little dodge and burn in bright spots a little cloning to touch up a couple of minor distractions. Resized sharpened again and saved for web.

Astonishing colours and outfit - possibly from the Chinese New Year ?

Good idea to desat to remove some of the background clutter, but inevitably hard to get rid of all of it and those straight lines still make the background a little 'busy'
