 Shot at the Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal, from the mezzanine overlooking the stairs.

For the curious, this is how I got this shot:

The shot was taken at f7.1, for 1/2 second at ISO 200. The people were really moving along fast and the stripped lady was slowing people down because of the child carrier she had. That's why she's a tad sharper than others.

I did shots at faster speeds, but there was not much blur and mostly, it did not look intentional - just a bad shot. At slower speeds, the highlights were impossible to control, with the walls completely blown out. This shot still had a bit of blown highlights but I was able to control most of it with the Shadow/highlight tool in Photoshop.

I really love this. How long was your exposure? This is a great idea and I love the sense of motion and the people's feet in the foreground especially. Any more info would be helpful.

I really like the interplay between the sharp and blurred elements here. B&W looks tempting but I think you made the right choice in keeping it in colour.

Nice! I like this a lot - seems to be perpetual motion. They're suspended but they're moving, and that will continue forever!
