 A customer came into my place of work and said, "There's a sea lion in your parking lot!"

The sea lion stayed around for a day and a half until the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito came and captured him.
Newspapers from miles around came to take pictures.
There was even TV coverage.
I was hoping to get an image with people standing around, but the sea lion was not in good humor, and my manager insisted that I return to work.
He got to do the interviews.

It's not everyday that one sees a sea lion--certainly NOT where I come from anyway! The story makes this photo but, unfortunately for the Newspaper challenge, we couldn't really have "captions" proper...just headlines. Still, a fine image outside of the challenge.

Hi there. This is most likely something you might see in the paper, good entry. I would have scored this higher if it was black and white. My reason is that the ground is over exposed and takes away from the sealion. Good luck to ya.

Pretty good picture (use a tad faster shutter, subject is moving a bit) Superb headline, very nicely done.
