There is a lot to look at here. The fading colors and the vignette give a sense of a "vanishing world" to this image. Not sure the harsh highlights are required. BTW, this could also fit the parallel "things that count" challenge. (not voting)

Having a family really tends to put things in perspective. This shot showcases a perspective that is somewhat straight ahead a little from below. Nice use of muted colors to create a nostalgic feel. It would have been nice to have the whole family together dressed similarly. Mom sanding out must be to show her character or independence.

the tittle is letting believe you entered in the wrong challenge. However, the photograph shows clear perspective. Wasn't it hard to decide in which challenge to enter?

i like the appearance of a 40 year old photo-print here - the blown highlights are a bit too much, though
