I like this shot because it is so deceptively simple, yet tells a story all its own. The back room....usually, not very nice things happen in back rooms, and I sense some ominousness (is that a word? Well it is now!;-) in the shadows. And as for *breaking* the rule of thirds? Well that's why you're a Sucker and a damn fine one! Good work!

Simple and effective. Good use of negative space. I like how the chair is facing out of the frame -- a broken rule that works. |
