My youngest daughters best friend. I had to take her picture....absolutely love those freckles.

The hair, the eyes, the look of concentration and (oh yes) the freckles. Excellent portrait.

Great freckles. It seems to me you don't see freckles much anymore. As soon as they get them they're covered up with make-up.

Nice lighting and I love that windblown look. She has quite the gaze.

She looks like a real character! Great capture!

Gorgeous capture. I love how your photos always seem to show a modern twist on nostalgic themed shots.

A favorite, for sure. I love, love, love this. The freckles, the way her hair blows slightly and your dof. Congratulations on a superb portrait!

Fantastic portrait. You're right. Freckles are wonderfully photogenic.

The freckles really bring out her eyes. Nice photo.

Beautiful lighting. You've captured a mood.

I hope she can love them too - this is SO BEAUTIFUL!

I love her eyes, and the backwards blowing hair.

I took this in RAW and processed it in black and white. I do have the color version, just never processed it. She is actually a strawberry-blonde.

Hey, thanks so much. I do take about 90% of my portraits with that lens. It is a great workhorse lens. I appreciate the comment. I did use studio lighting on the image. I like to use feather lighting with a large softbox; barely having the light skim their face.

I am peering right into her soul. The blown hair and freckles - you aced it for sure.
