Spiral formed from successive 80% scales and 15 degree rotations, blend mode lighten done to the original which had been cropped. Brightness/contrast adjustment.

Again, I find myself liking this second spiral attempt better than the first, because of the more "organic" nature of the fit - I can almost make myself believe this is the actual flower, before the double-take.
