Congratulations on scoring a ribbon with a monochrome shot in a challenge dominated by colorful subjects!! Your conversion really did bring out the texture and detail of the graffiti and the wall well, and very nice to add a human!! |

It took me 3 years to get the second ribbon, at this rate, blue is a far fetched idea :) .. but I am sure blue will bring more addiction than retirement :-) Thanks for the comments everyone!

This is very effective in b/w. Excellent work. Not that I don't wish you a blue, Vikas but I'd prefer you to stay ;-)) Many congrats on your ribbon. |

I like the inclusion of the figure, and the light is great. |

I like the lighting and the man walking into the scene. The black and white really works here for me. |

I more for graffiti in color, but somehow you've managed to make it cool in black&white, 9 |

Now this is MY kind of shot! I love the contrasts here; great tones from the BW conversion of the graffiti itself, then the tone difference between the wall and the pavement is nice too, and then there's the contrast in the expressions of the subjects. Nice patch of light, well composed, my fave so far. |

This is the only 10 I have given for the challenge. I love the lighting and composition. It is really well done and conveys the graffiti theme but isn't just a shot of graffiti. Hope you ribbon with this. |
