don't ask me to fav this, no make me look away and tell myself none of this has anything to do with my safe little world, and this is only the musing of a madman... |

Once again, you have missed the broad appeal, but totally nailed it for the narrower audience that appreciates such things. That's a successful entry in my book. |

The image alone is good... not great, but good... but when combined with the title, this becomes a great, and very powerful image. Confronting, uncomfortably so perhaps. Kudos to you for the courage to submit a photo like this in a challenge dominated by DPC eye-candy. Bravo. |

Very artistic! The editing adds to the subject and gives it a rough feel. |

Interesting shot, almost appeared abstract at first until I started to make out details. I only looked at your title secondary and it's a brave subject to approach.
I'm wondering how you got the effect, it almost has a double exposure feel to it as if on film, but since this is digital photography, I'm guessing it was down to camera movement.
I like it, though I don't think the shot itself has as much impact as it should relative to your title. For me it's more of an abstract portrait. |

Very interestingly executed , actually I quite like it. I would have liked it even more if the reds & yellows are a little too strong. 6 |

It's very odd for me to give a 7 to an image like this. But, I did. It's oddly moving. |

This is artistic and the title carries this photo and explains allot. Without title one would wonder what the shot was about. For this in this context the photo really works to carry that idea but I would still like to see a bit more detail in mouth. Im no pro with this but these are my impressions. 6 |

Combining the blurred movement of the camera, the crop, the "dream-like" quality to this photo really works extremely well to portray your message. I love the artistic merit to this shot and I hope that all DPCers see this in this shot! I'm bumping the score up from an 8 to a 9 after a second look. |

A stereotype perhaps? Do wife beaters always wear these kind of undershirts? Regardless of that, it's a very well done image. Looks like what the unfortunate victim is seeing. |
