Greetings from the Critique Club!
Excellent and fun stop-action shot! This did well scorewise and finished well in a very competitive challenge. It does seem to me to need a bit more contrast to really make that water "pop" as the saying goes, and perhaps a crop of the foreground rock. But you did indeed catch this at just the right moment for the photo to have solid impact.

What? A 500mm lens? This would have been soooo much better if you had used your 17-55mm lens!

| Fantastic nature shot! Perhaps could benefit from a little more visual pop. Just out of curiosity, I did some quick adjustments on it and found a modest s-curve and some mild saturation increase really made the bear and the pattern of the water spray stand out. I'll be curious to see how this fares in voting. I can't ding an otherwise outstanding nature shot for the PP, so it still gets a high vote for me. |

| A great moment! I might have bumped up the contrast a bit and maybe would have cropped in a little tighter to bring the bear's head out a little more, but this is a very cool shot. |
