Outstanding portrait but should have just stuck with the balloon.......it would have told a story...trying to bring some colour back into her bored life.... |

This is a good image, the lighting is very adequate. No over-exposed areas although it is taken in sunlight. I personally wouldn't have included two colors but rather just the red of the balloon and left the rest in B&W. I am not sure what it is in the sky to the top right of the girl's cap, it looks like a brush stroke or something, it has a blue tinge to it. |

I like this photo and how you used the desaturation. Good work! |

I keep coming back to this one. I really like the composition and the desaturation works well...purposeful. I can't decide though whether or not I think the balloon is just a little too red. It's a bit overwhelming. I wonder what it would look like if you toned it down to balance the child instead of taking over the shot. In any event, this is a lovely portrait. |

Too many colors and too many hue's of colors for a desat challenge. Had only the balloon been red, or, the jeans blue and all the rest desat I would have voted this a 10........ it's a great pic with great contrast. |
