 -This is Mt. Denali (Mt. McKinley) in Alaska. This elusive mount likes to hide behind the clouds and only 1/3 of visitors ever see it out in the open. It is a very windy blustery location.
This was shot during a 6-hour bus ride to the heart of Denali National Park.
I believe that the blurriness this shot has been accused of having is instead the snowy winds blowing across it. I still love it, always will.

nicely captured image from a plane - i don't usually have such luck when traveling - i just wish for a bit more sharpness (hard to do through a plane window, mind you...)

wow it almost seems that if you converted this to B&W you'd have a very richly toned picture like an Ansel Adams picture

Imprerssive mountains but not sharp enough to truly represent the beauty and harshness of this terrain. Just my taste maybe but the comp works for me and just a tad off at the top to be cropped

This is really nice, but instantly I notice it seems to be a touch soft, not overly so, but I imagine you'll lose some points for it.

Wonderful scene, the clouds are awesome. A bit grainy and the faded part at the bottom is annoying....I guess this was taken from a plane?
