Greetings from the Critique Club!

I'm probably not the best to critique this shot as I am not a "foodie", but based on your comments received during the challenge, you've pleased many of those folks who do like food shots, so that's good! To me, this looks pretty well lit although there are a few reflections that a softer light might have prevented. Colors are good and seem very natural. The only suggestion I'd make, and not sure how you do it, is to ensure the spoon is clean above the gravy line, if that makes sense. And good job catching the gravy as it drips!

The sauce is so thick and gooey looking - never had suckling pig - but it's a pretty photo that is for sure.

Looks like it belongs on the front of a beef stock packet, it's a great food shot!

well lighted , I would have cropped the top more (to just above the sauce in the spoon) , 6

I love shallow dof food shots but I think you could have opened up the aperture a little wider or focused more squarely on the sauce. It's a nice shot but I think you're a little off to the right...

Greta depth of field used. You are making me feel hungry.....The reflection on the spoon though grabs my attention as it is a bit overdone.......

Very good food shot and nice drip. I would have given it a different title, "suckling pig" doesn't really sound appetizing! But I am voting on the photo, not the title.

Good enough to eat. Really looks good and as a food shot this gets a thumbs up for me. Gravy is as good as sold 8

Food photography is really difficult. This doesn't make me want to eat this dish.
