 Roughly 15 plastic drinking straws, were taped together. This was what made the bubbles, along with the home made bubble stuff. Two speedlights were used. One off camera to backlight bubbles. The other to transmit the signal. Camera was on a tripod with a remote shutter transmitter. Black background was used, to create a tunnel to shoot through. Roughly 5'x4'x4'. This helped with unwanted bubble reflections. The bubbles were made, at the end of the tunnel.

These bubbles glitter which makes them beautiful in and of themselves displaying their colours. The black background just sets this off by focusing the vision directly to the centre.
