 Well, my preferred style is black and white or toned images. I definitely have preferred subjects, and most of the time I shoot wide open or nearly wide open as I like a shallow depth of field with the exception of seascapes. I debated between an abstract macro or portrait, finally settled on a portrait. Wide open black and white with an intent of mood.

This was taken with available light from a window. She is our only infant to have used a bottle, the other two breast fed for a few years, but that could not happen with this little one. So this is rather meaningful, as she is so engaged with the bottle as opposed to a breast. The crop is minimal, and the composition gives me the sense of a womb.

Probably will produce an average score for me. I'll be surprised if folks recognize my Sophia.
