I like this photo and gave it 7. This is a photo with strong personal style. Don't know why it is under 6 in a "signature style" challenge. |

GREETINGS FROM THE CRITIQUE CLUB
There are times when I don't know why the voters elect to give middling scores to a good image. This is one of them.
I think your processing is fine, delicate and carefully done. Fabulous sunrise, captured and processed well, with nice tones in the buildings and street lights complementing that early light. It is perhaps more illustration-like than 'realistic' photography, but that suits the image.
Maybe a sleepy kid in a red coat with a sled dragging behind would have added punch - (I'm really fantasizing here) but in any event I think you did a good job and can only say: "Keep up the good work!"
PS I gave you a '7' in competition for this Xmas Card type image.

Holy Mackerel. I ought to hate this, but I actually love it. I mean, by any normal standard that's horrible PP, but the overall effect is quite bemusing to me. |

The picture looks like you took it out of a children's book. The part of the picture that catches my eye is the sunrise in the background. |
