 Started with a bad snapshot of my kitty...final product is kinda creepy in a way. There really is a Cat's Eye Nebula; it is an exploded star that has expelled a lot of gas...kind of like this particular kitty in that way :-)

Original strategically cropped. I find cropping before all the flip and blend to be useful, as you can really think about what you want where and do some pre-placement of important features. Anyhoo...
after crop, rotate 90's and 45's, all difference mode. Didn't even have to erase bits of layers for those creepy eyes to show through :-) Then Topaz Adjust color stretch and spicify. Topaz Clean curly smooth. A bit more adjusting of colors, and another crop closer in.

I really like the texture that just POPS from the cat hair. This side challenge has just been tooooooo much fun.
