I doubt my paper (Gannett press) would ever publish this... but maybe they should. Nice lighting. Great expression. Good capture of on-looker. (think the title should be "Democratic Oppostion" since it is not Republicans who are doing the opposing...is it?) |

What a slam on politics! I like to see photographers bold enough to capture these harsh moments. |

Nice emotion in the photo. I would have made a much closer crop to the person on the left (along the pole,) but other than that, good shot. |

While I may agree with the opinions displayed in your photo, I have to rate it lower because no newspaper could publish this picture because it violates decency standards. Otherwise, it's a fine picture. |

Wow! A cogent, convincing, coherent arguement that ends all debate. Very classy indeed. Shouldn't these guys be out washing people's car windows at some intersection somewhere?
Technically, a little contrasty for my liking, however, news photos happen when they happen and there's little control the photog has as to time of day, lighting, etc. |

This is definitely newspaper-type material, just not all newspapers. I can neither agree nor disagree with the content, but the photo itself is fairly well-made and captured at a decent angle. The lighting appears to be from midday sun, which makes it a bit flat with harsh shadows, but in news you take what you get, right? I am sure it was rather interesting, being there in person...hope you weren't one of the people on the receiving end of "the bird." I also hope you don't suffer from the political voters rather than those who vote based on photographic merit. :o) |

Even though I like bush, this is a cool photo that demonstrates the freedoms that we have here in America, freedoms in which we have to fight for.8 |

A bit obscene for an actual newspaper, but it's a great emotionally charged photo. I'd probably tighten the crop a bit on the sides. |

I agree with the sentiment. I particularly like the older man and the the look on the face of the man in the background. I might have cropped it more on the right side for emphasis. |

Well, hmmm, what can I say. Very effective shot, certainly portrays emotions and opinions and the hand eye cordination seems in tact. Very good shot, certainly news material 10 |

HAHA! i like that pic but i'm gonna have to say that the lighting is bad in this pic. Shadows are a problem in this pic. |

Don't think this would get published in most newspapers (without editing). Your headline should say _why_ they oppose bush in my opinion. Nice attempt. |
