i love sillhouette photography. I find it calming and very peacefull. Ohh and down below when it states the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed i am not sure what was actually used so i did a not so accurate guess. I look foward to the comments and advice :)

Greetings from the Critique Club.

First impressions are that the silhouette is nicely contrasted with the sky.

Technically this is a good silhouette shot but as one commenter noted it has been resized too much. The main tower also appears to be off vertical slightly.

Artistically This is good as it intends to showcase the lines of the building rather than the building itself.

In summary it's an ok shot but compressed too much and also lacks a bit of punch - but that's really the sky and mother natures fault rather than yours ;)

Feel free to PM me if you have any queries.
Gerry

This is obviously from someone who has never gotten one of my infamous JPEG comments before. So, here you go...

There are a ton of compression artifacts showing around the edges of the tower. A 39k file size confirms excessive compression is what is killing the detail and clarity in this shot. Compression kills detail. Always use the least amount of compression you can get away with and still come in under the challenge limit.

Other than that it is a dramatic looking shot and I'm sure it will do decently.

Lot of negative space lower LHS.
Detracts from image IMO.
