Converted to b&w using topaz detail. Topaz detail (creative detail accent). Added a dup layer. Topaz denoise. Layer mask, took out all the topaz detail accent except for the guy.

The shot tells a story quite well. I think the problem (in my opinion anyways) is the processing. I think that the topaz was a little too heavy. In my opinion (and that's all it is) processing should be subtle. (In fact, I noticed that you took out the topaz detail except for the guy and that's where I notice it the most. The rest of the scene looks to have the "right" level of processing.

That aside, I think that if you just showed his head and the foot it might have been more effective.

But all nit-picking aside, I enjoy this image and it certainly made me laugh. :)

LOL! This is delightful! And hilarious! I like how her bow and dress indicate a fancy occasion (as does the shoe of course) yet he's dressed quite casually. Somehow that adds another element. Nicely done!

I actually gave this one a 6. I like it, but perhaps you could have cropped it so it only showed the foot stepping on him. :)
