First impression:
I quite like the one light portrait. It creates a really dramitic scene with the dark shadows. Love those catchlights.

Suggested improvement:

That's him??? The face behind these amazing portraits? This is awesome. I really love how you are so not limited to one style. I love those soft dreamy shots that you do -- but this shows the versatility of your talent. The detail and texture is mesmerizing.

Your right Will I struggled to get the lighting to pic up any hair at all!! I think I found a few but unfortunately they were all grey :-)

nice, i am more a fan of the more serious type expressions in portraits, i really like the light, like he is coming out of the darkness

Excellent use of what appears to be some very moody lighting. The whites on the collar seem slightly blown out, but that is not really distracting from the overall composition.
