Hehe good shot. Adding a little contrast I think would improve it a lot, and after the challenge some dodge/burn will really work wonders on this shot.

definately a newspaper/photojouralistic photo. So far a lot of the photos seem to be kind of a stretch, but this is spot on. Good luck.
