 The Palace, an old hotel in Manchester, has many different kinds of chambers. This is one of them. They give each of them distinguished English names.

In this photo I did the usual: straightened, leveled, curved, smart-blurred, unsharp-masked, contrasted, brightened, smart-sharpened, desaturated, textured, de-speckled, framed and reduced. And of course fiddled and fiddled some more.
Surprisingly, no crop was needed.

Barely any destructive processing, actually. Just tweaked some delicate stuff and I did give it one texture. The hotel is unbelievable. Everyone, and I mean everyone gets lost here. Each turn of the corner is another look and feel of the hotel.
And it would be very illegal for me to take a photo of a photo, wouldn't it. Not to speak of undermining myself as an artist. I would never do that. And for what anyway...a few nothces up the ladder? Hm. No.

I just adore this. Very unwordly and sinister. Has an old tv feel to it. Just my type of image. Wonderful. In my top ten of the challenge. 9.

This could be an illustration of a suspense novel. The style appears to be created more then photographed. It creates an interesting element of curiosity however.
