 This is my first challenge here on DP.

Taken at sunset in mid December after a period of many very warm days when the frost finally came back to Iceland.

Processing is my normal Raw processing in Lightroom plus the graduated filter tool to darken the sky a little bit.

The water certainly does look chilly. Yet, the image as a whole just does not give me a strong sense of cold. The warm colours and the huge distance with more warm colours say to me that it is warming up, not freezing.

Man I think you robbed yourself of a potential ribbon winner here by not uploading at 800 pixels, this is stunning and deserves to be seen high res.

I like this. Composition's great, colors ane nice. Makes me want to be there! You're allowed up to 800 pixels on a side. I am sure I'd like it even better bigger. Probably give it another point.
